Tattooed: A Collection of Images and Stories

This is a hardbound book containing a collection of images and stories inspired by research of the psychology behind why humans get tattoos. To create this book I sent out a call for participants on social media (Instagram & Facebook) to send in images of their tattoos and personal testimonials behind them. From the participants that shared their stories, there were four categories that the tattoos seemed to fit into: Inspirational, Dedication, Memorial, and Unique. From what I collected from participants, I used the images and direct quotes to create a book full of both vulnerability and creativity.

This work won 1st place in the graphic design category at the BGSU Undergraduate Show in the spring of 2022.
